Edmonton Expo 2018 Retrospective

We had a great time at Edmonton Expo this year. There was no better way to spend a weekend than watching Edmonton's home grown crop of geeks come out and celebrate everything pop culture.

In order to keep up with the demand that we saw last year, we ended up booking an extra booths to hold the mass of stock that we had to haul from the Castle. Luckily, we only lost a few serfs in the process.

Luckily, we didn't have to hire any more security to watch over our board game hoard, since we decided to bring Sir Hindsight with us to ward off any Board Bandits and Dice Devils that might be lurking around the convention (you can see him standing guard on the far right, in the photo above).

By far though, or biggest change this year was the inclusion of our Squishables stock. We had to rent a whole other booth just to house these lovable, snuggable, huggable critters (pictured below). We're proud to say that a whole host of squishables ended up finding new loving owners to give them the hugs and cuddles that they adore.

Our collection of Squishables could barely fit on the shelves of the new booth.

All in all, it was one of our best years at Edmonton Expo to date. It was a ton of fun to see all of the awesome costumes, super fans, and cool collectables. But most importantly, it was an absolute pleasure to see all the shining smiles on the faces of everyone who passed by.

We'd like to extend our thanks to all the organizers and volunteers that worked so hard to make the Expo a reality - the true capeless heroes that we deserve.

We hope that everyone who attended the convention had as much fun as we did, and we're already looking forward to going again next year.
