The folk of Harrow County put the witch, Hester Beck, to death. They stabbed, hung, and buried her under an old oak tree. Soon after, a young girl was born out of that same tree. As Emmy grew, she felt connected to the land and its inhabitants, the townsfolk and the haints. Now Hester’s family has returned to exact revenge, and Emmy must gather her allies to protect Harrow County.
- UNIQUE FACTION GOALS: Each faction has a different goal, from rescuing townsfolk, destroying buildings with storms, or finding a doll amongst the decoys.
- ASYMMETRIC PLAY STYLE: Each faction also plays completely different with how they use their ability tokens: tracks, bag-building, sliding mechanic.
- CUBE TOWER BUILT INTO BOX: Resolve combat by throwing cubes into a cube tower that’s literally built into the game box.
- PLAY AS THE DEAD WITCH: The third player, Hester Beck, is buried under the tree. She controls its roots to infect haints in an effort to come back to life.
