Katamino appeals to everyone's natural gifts of reflection and manipulation. Suitable for all ages, it allows children to develop an understanding of geometry , and develops logic and a sense of observation: Katamino has become "a classic" among teachers. Its multiple possibilities make it an attractive and exciting game of patience. Practiced alone, Katamino is a smart and progressive puzzle. Its modular game board offers several degrees of difficulty and adapts to everyone. You have to make perfect sets called Pentas by juxtaposing several Pentominoes on the board. The more the number of Pentominoes used increases, the more the difficulty increases: the ruler is positioned vertically between the numbers 4 and 5 on the board to achieve a maximum of Pentas 4; then, by successive displacements of the slider, one achieves a maximum of Pentas 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. There are 36 057 combinations!
- Find the 340 imposed combinations of the Grand Slam, the Super Slam and the Challenge using the 3 grid tables.
- Create many flat figures (geometric shapes, animals and others).
- With Katamino Luxe or Classic, perform figures in volume (parallelepipeds or others). With 2 players, each in turn places a Pentamino on the chessboard: the winner is the one who, by placing the last piece, makes it impossible for the opponent to play. You can also share the pieces equally, then place the ruler in the middle of the board: the winner will be the one who fills as quickly as possible the rectangle on his side with all the pieces he has.
