Create an accountWas the light bulb invented before or after the glasses?
With Timeline, find the answer to this question and to thousands of others by confronting your knowledge or insights with historical reality.
At the beginning of the game, all players receive the same number of cards representing monuments, inventions, etc. On the back of each card is a date.
For starters, a card is randomly drawn from undistributed cards to players. It is placed at the center of the table opposite visible date and is the starting point of a timeline that will be gradually completed by the players.
The first player then chooses one of his cards. If he thinks that the date of the invention of his card dates from before that of the initial card, he puts his card on the left of the card. If he believes that his invention was created after, he places his card to the right of the original card. The player's card is then returned, face date visible.
If he's right, she stays put. Otherwise, his card is discarded and he must draw another to replace it.
The game continues in a clockwise direction. The more cards are placed, the more difficult it is to ask new ones without being wrong! The first player who has no more cards wins.
