The games has four wooden foot rests with felt pads underneath, elevating the board and preventing slippage on a table top. The Outside of the board has recessed grooves for storing the pennies. Each of wagering compartments is recessed into the main part of the board and has been finely curved and smoothed to allow easy removal of wagers (pennies). The card names are permanently engraved into the center rim on the board using modern equipment. This board is made in a very high tech millwork shop in Canada and is by far our finest.
