  • The registration fee is $30 +GST per person.

Who can play?
  • Anyone 18 years or older
  • Youmustbe a Canadian citizen (If you are not a Canadian citizen you can play in the tournament, but you cannot represent Canada in the World Championship. If the winner is not a Canadian Citizen, the 1st place price will be awarded to the highest placing Canadian citizen.)
  • Employees of Mission Fun & Games and their relatives cannot play
How many players can compete in the tournament?
  • We guarantee a minimum of 32 players
  • There is no maximum limit, everyone who registers will play!
How many players have already registered to play in the tournament?
  • 46 players have registered as of May 18th at 8:00 am
How do I register to play in the tournament?
  • To register, simply purchase theRegistration Feefrom boardgames.ca
  • If you are paying for more than one player, or for someone other than yourself, please type the full name and age of each player in the 'Special Instructions' box when you place your order.
I may have to work that weekend. What is your registration fee refund policy?
  • We will provide a full refund of your registration fee provided we receive your refund request on or before May 16th.
  • Refunds requested after May 16th will be provided in the form of a Mission Fun & Games in-store gift certificate.
When is the 2007 Settlers of Catan World Championship?
  • The 2007 World Championship will be held Oct 18-21 2007 inEssenGermany.
How many Canadians will represent Canada in the World Championship?
  • The World Championship rules allow a maximum of 2 players to represent each country.
  • 2 Canadians will play in the 2007 World Championship.
  • Mayfair Games has arranged 2 Canadian National Championships, the winner of each one will play in the World Championship.
  • The other Canadian National Championship will be held May 05-06 2007, as part ofBayconin Hamilton Ontario.
How many games will I get to play?
  • There will be a minimum of 4 regular rounds.
  • The top 16 players after 4 rounds will advance to the semi-final round.
  • The 4 semi-final winners will compete in the final game.
What time does the tournament start?
  • This will be finalized in the week before the tournament.
  • The start time will be 9:00am or 10:00am, depending on the number of players registered.
